Working as a Telephone and Face-to-Face Interviewer

Have you always wanted to be part of a motivated team and do something exciting and varied?
Whether you are just starting your career or looking for a new professional challenge, we have the right opportunity for you. With us, you can work both as a telephone interviewer and as a face-to-face interviewer. Here you will learn more about these two roles and how you can get involved.

Make a difference

As a face-to-face interviewer at DemoSCOPE, you help us collect the opinions of people living in Switzerland and make them available to science and the economy. Professional social and market research makes a significant contribution to avoiding misallocation and overproduction and to fostering positive growth.

Unlike telephone surveys, so-called face-to-face interviews involve personal interaction between interviewers and respondents. Depending on the assignment, interviews are conducted, for example, in respondents’ homes, on the street, at workplaces or points of sale, as well as at trade fairs and events.

Most interviews are carried out using state-of-the-art mobile devices such as laptops, tablets, or smartphones. This allows us to present products, photos, videos, or audio material and enables our interviewers to devote more time to the people taking part in the survey. All devices and electronic questionnaires are intuitive to use, and should any questions arise before, during, or after an assignment, experienced contacts at DemoSCOPE are always available to provide support.

What does it take to be a successful face-to-face interviewer at DemoSCOPE? A confident, open-minded, and patient personality. We offer flexible assignments as a freelance interviewer in your region. You will be part of varied studies with diverse and interesting research questions.

We are looking for people who would like to work with us over a longer period of time with flexible scheduling. You decide which projects you would like to take part in. You can expect a role that is enjoyable, varied, and rewarding—and one that values commitment and responsibility.

Interested? Then don’t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you and exploring together how you can make a difference as a face-to-face interviewer at DemoSCOPE.

Telephone interviews are a key component of market research and provide valuable insights into the opinions and preferences of the population.

As a telephone interviewer at DemoSCOPE, you play an important role in collecting and analysing this valuable information. You will be in direct contact with people living in Switzerland and conduct structured, computer-assisted telephone interviews. This role explicitly does not involve sales activities or telemarketing. To strengthen our motivated team in Adligenswil, we are looking for committed and communicative individuals aged 18 and over.

Working as a telephone interviewer is flexible and can be adapted to your personal needs. Assignments are scheduled irregularly and by mutual agreement, depending on project requirements, and are paid on an hourly basis. You can choose the shifts that best fit your availability:

  • At least two evenings per week, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
  • At least one Saturday per month, from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm and/or 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm

After a successful on-site training period and once certain workplace requirements are met, there is the option to carry out part of your interviewing work from home.

Are you talented in languages and do you speak Swiss German, Italian, or French? Are you looking for a varied part-time role and do you enjoy working on a computer as well as interacting with people over the phone? Would you like to personally conduct some of the most interesting surveys in Switzerland and find out what the Swiss population thinks? If you can answer yes to these questions, then you are exactly the person we are looking for.

Don’t hesitate to contact us. We are continuously looking for new team members for our telephone laboratories in Adligenswil (LU) and Fribourg. Become part of our team and help give a voice to the Swiss population. We look forward to receiving your application!
